Before you start

Step by step

  1. Open the appropriate pipeline view

MLOs select “My Pipeline”; administrators select “Pipeline.” The page heading is “Pipeline & Pacing,” and the description identifies either “Your active deals” or the manager rollup.

  2. Read the stage columns

Review the visible columns Lead, Pre-Qual, Application, Underwriting, and Approved. Each card can show borrower name, loan amount, MLO name, expected close date, and an Encompass indicator when applicable.

  3. Request intelligence for one deal

On a deal card, select “Get Deal Intel.” Wait for the result; the control then changes to “Show intel” or “Hide intel.” Expanded content is labeled “AI Deal Intelligence” and can include Next step, Product, Risk, and a coaching note.

  4. Review optional Encompass status

When an administrator has a connected integration, the header shows the Encompass count and sync health. The tooltip states “Syncs every 15 minutes,” and the visible “Sync Now” control requests an on-demand sync.

Troubleshooting

The pipeline has no cards.

Confirm that you are viewing the intended MLO or company scope and that active deal data exists there. An empty stage is a valid state; do not infer that another scope’s deals are missing.

The AI intelligence result does not appear.

Wait for the “Getting intel…” state to finish and try the same card once more. If it still fails, record the deal’s visible name, page path, and any visible error without copying confidential loan data.

Sync Now is not visible or Encompass data is stale.

Sync Now is shown only when a connected Encompass integration is reported for an administrator. Check the approved integration setup and ask an administrator to review its health; do not paste integration credentials into help requests.
