Invite an MLO and verify onboarding
Use the current Team invitation flow, then review the invited MLO’s roster record and onboarding progress.
Before you start
- Be an Admin or Company admin with access to the Team page.
- Have the MLO’s name and the email address they will use to sign in.
Step by step
Open Team
Use the sidebar’s Team item or open /mlo-ops/settings/team. The page shows the current active and pending invite counts.
Send an individual invitation
Select “Invite MLO” or the “Invite by email” tab. Enter the required “MLO Name” and “Email address,” then select “Send Invite.”
Confirm the invitation is listed
Return to “Members” and look for the person with a “Pending” status. The page also provides a “Shareable signup link” and a “Copy” control if your approved onboarding process needs the link.
Use the bulk invitation only when appropriate
For a prepared list, open “Bulk CSV import,” paste one name and email per line into “Paste CSV (name, email — one per line),” and select “Import & Invite All.” The page reports how many MLOs will be added before the import.
Review the linked profile
After the invitee completes sign-up with the invited email, open Operations → MLO Roster. Select the MLO’s name, then open the “Onboarding” tab. Review “Onboarding Progress,” the percentage, required steps, and any completion dates. “AI Assist” also offers “Build Path” as an optional coaching aid.
Check your work
- The Team page lists the invitee as “Pending” while they have not finished sign-up.
- After account linking, the member becomes “Active” and the MLO is visible in MLO Roster.
- The MLO profile shows an Onboarding Progress bar and a required-step list.
Troubleshooting
I cannot see “Invite MLO” or the invitation controls.
Confirm that you are using an Admin or Company admin workspace and that the page is /mlo-ops/settings/team. If access is still missing, record the visible role/access message and ask your organization administrator.
An invite remains Pending.
Have the invitee use the invited email address and the organization’s signup link, then refresh the Members list. Do not send duplicate invitations until the administrator confirms the original address is wrong or expired.
The MLO appears in Team but not in MLO Roster.
Confirm that the invitee completed sign-up with the same email address and refresh once. If the records still disagree, escalate the member name, email domain, visible statuses, and approximate time to the organization administrator without sharing credentials.
Important limits
- The current MLO Roster page is a roster and profile view; it does not expose a verified “Add MLO” form. Start new MLO onboarding from Team → Invite MLO rather than relying on older roster instructions.
- The profile’s onboarding checklist is presented for review in the current UI; do not promise that an administrator can edit checklist outcomes from that page.
- Company admins should invite and review only people within their company scope.
