Before you start

Step by step

  1. Open Campaign Management

Select Operations → Campaigns, then select “New Campaign.” The create dialog opens with “Manual” and “AI-Generate” modes.

  2. Choose Manual and an audience

Leave “Manual” selected and choose an “Audience”: Lenders, MLO Recruits, Borrowers, Realtors, or Webinar Attendees.

  3. Name the campaign

Enter the required “Campaign name.” Add a “Description (optional)” if useful, then select “Create Campaign.” The form cannot submit until a campaign name is present.

  4. Open the new campaign

The campaign card should appear with its audience and draft status. Select the card name or “Import Leads” to continue. The detail drawer also provides “Import Leads” and steps/enrollments tabs.

  5. Choose an import format

In “Import Leads,” choose “Paste List” for one email per line or Name, Email, Company lines, or choose “CSV Upload” and paste CSV content with a header row. The UI recognizes email, full_name or name, company, phone, and source columns.

  6. Confirm consent when required and enroll

For consumer/borrower campaigns, check “These contacts have given marketing consent (required for consumer/borrower campaigns).” Review the list, then select “Import & Enroll.” The completion dialog shows contacts enrolled, duplicates skipped, and invalid rows skipped.

Troubleshooting

I cannot open Campaign Management or New Campaign.

Campaigns is admin-only. Return to the role-appropriate dashboard; if you should be an Admin or Company admin, ask your organization administrator to review access.

“Create Campaign” is disabled.

In Manual mode, enter a nonblank “Campaign name.” If you are in AI-Generate mode, switch back to Manual for this procedure.

The page shows “Import failed.”

Confirm the paste is nonblank, the CSV has a header row, and the selected format matches the text. For a consumer/borrower campaign, confirm the consent requirement is met, then try the import once more.

The completion dialog reports skipped rows.

Review duplicates and invalid rows separately. Correct the source list and import only the rows that should be newly enrolled; do not assume a skipped duplicate is a delivery failure.
